Here in the States it's December and winter is upon us so, let's see some really cool winter shots. (Pun intended.)

I'm no photographer but I'll start with a custom re-skinned 2-6-0 Mogul by Baldwin runnin' on an old NG route in Open Rails...

Here are a few I pulled from the archives. The first is form the London & Port Stanley and the rest are from the Thousand Island Railways.

Wintertime shots are the best. Kosmos makes them even better.

Just running the Port Stanley Local, and never realised how pretty and different that route looks in Wintertime. Then again, I don't think there was too much attention made on Waynes original, and with the recent update so much attention has been made to these differences. Heck of a job Nick and the crew did to this route. :wheelchair: I like Paul's routes alot, but they beat up my graphic card something fierce. Though Paul had hinted there might be improvements in future. So fingers crossed on that.

33% on topic.

I have been playing around with seasonal textures on the L&PS. Some of these changes were included in the recent version 3 and some are mine own ramblings.

Really some nice pics in this thread. Nice work on the L&PS, too.

Rick:

Like your shots of the little NG Mogul. That is an old Jon Davis model/textures that still holds up well!

Sam:

That second shot (first Thousand Island shot) is superb. I love the headlight illuminating the scene ahead!!

Whoa! Very nice, Rich. :wallbash:

Thanks, Andre. I'm just the beta tester for that re-skinning job. I threw my 'colors' on it while testing just to have it fit in to my RR theme but, I'm not really sure who the original creator was.
It is the Nevada County NG Mogul.
It's a private re-skin and I don't believe it'll be released.

It's a very nice model, though and, will pull a short consist around my 'layout' as intended.

Re: NCNG Mogul...

"I'm not really sure who the original creator was."

As I mentioned above, the original model and textures were created by Jon Davis.
