Love your work Paul. Great detail! And for those that like a 'little bit of grime' on them, I found your cars really easy to 'weather' with nothing more than MS Paint. I did a brief tuorial here...

So I've been having fun wuth these engines as well. Either I'm lucky 'flinging the paint' on them, or I'm wasting my prodigal talents that could be selling for thousands. :wheelchair: But great looking engines, and really fun and rewarding to work with. :rofl2:

For what I am going to use the SWs for, they would have only been a couple of months old. They ran into the '70s in the green and yellow delivery scheme, so weather away for you're using them in later years.

Paul these sure look good. These engines were iconic and it's good to have them.

Hi Chris,
Not sure why, I always like a pair of SWs running back to back, doing a little road switching.

I agree, though I've only seen photos.
Did you see Max made a CV SW1200RS? Not sure what model he used.
I told him he needed to make a pair (they always ran in pairs on CV), but he didn't. I suppose I could make the other one.

Hi Chris,
I think Max used an old CN model out of the library, the headlight and number boards are wrong for a CV unit.
Caught a pair switching Swanton on Saturday afternoon back in the early '80s, also have taken shots of all three at various times in St. Albans in both black and Larson green. I've seen shots of them running singular, took one of a short work train leaving St Albans, but you're right, normally two back to back. Also took shots of two being used as pushers heading south at the tail end of 444.
Maybe when things settle down I'll take a couple of days and convert these to the three CV SWs.
