Hi all,
Here's another set of two NG boxcars, more for the mining aspects of your railroad this time, being only 16 feet long.
They have double doors to accommodate an 8' wide loading clearance with two 4' doors on each side.
Peeling paint, rusty hardware, bare wood, and also covered in dust, dirt and road grime gives these little guys a well used look.

This is a set of two boxes, one loaded and one empty. LD & MT respectfully.
There's a VIEWME.bmp file showing the difference between the two, before you get to re-skinnin' 'em that is.
Of course, equipped with link & pin couplers, archbar trucks, and mechanical brakes backdating it to the late 1800s.

Built to accommodate the new OR sim meaning, the poly count is a bit high at 7,450.

Hope you enjoy this one...

UPDATED: To include rounder wheels and shiny tires, among other things as well.

CREDITS:
I tip my hat to the following train sim lovers who have helped me immensely,
hadrians, aka Howard, my 'Mechanic' when messin' with the techy stuff.
Sandy River Tom, aka Tom, for letting me know what he really thinks and in helping in anyway he could.
johnfrum, aka John, for 'takin' it for a spin' checking for any operational errors and such.
Johnsfly2, aka John, as another model checker with comments, suggestions and ideas.
Many many thanks, guys.

Your models are overflowing with narrow gauge character. If it were possible to wear them out, I would have done so. Thanks for sharing them.
