Hi guys,
I was wondering where we should post and on what forum board, world wide, will you guys be 'hanging out' to listen to our complaints, suggestions, compliments and general input about the Open Rails project from us end users/testers?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Rick,
The team is covering ET, TS and UKTS. Many of the team hangout here, so posting at ET will be absolutely be read. We do have a feedback form on the OR website which is saved in a DB. The team will be reviewing all feedback and posting a summary after DLs are closed. So if you want to make sure your feature, bug, or input about the software is captured for posterity, please do use the feedback form. Otherwise, posting on the boards is perfectly fine.

Great!
First off, I've just DLed this wonderful little tid bit you guys have put together so far and wanted to say, FANTASTIC! The graphics are exceptional.

My track on all the routes are broken in most places but the trains roll over them smoothly.

I have a 24" monitor and need a 1800x1200 resolution setting to fit my screen to make the 'round things' round. Any chance of that? I guess I should ask, will there be more resolution options to choose from?

I tip my hat to the OR team... Great job so far, guys. http://www.elvastowe...tyle_emoticons/default/bravo.gif

Thanks,

I relies that content is still a ways off yet but, will the OR team be wanting/needing any 'content creators', such as myself, later on down the road?

Thanks,

Ah, yes, that's much better. :(

I'd also like to add that I'm getting 60 plus FPS!

Thanks,

Found another issue. The track work throughout the routes have broken sections in various places. This shot is of track I've layed. I don't use 'flex' track anywhere.
What's going on here? Is there a fix?
All trains run over them quite smoothly, though.

Amazing what you can see when there is clarity on the screen, huh?

I'll betcha the right hand "flaw" is exactly what you see... a bad track joint and the left hand "flaw" is due to a difference in pitch between the two adjacent tracks... the one on the left going down relative to the one on the right, which may be going up (the texture for the roadbed on the right is covering the rail on the left). These are things you just can't easily see in the route editor... but they are there.

This track was laid on flat ground, btw. No grade. The actual grade starts after the points on the single track side.
