I also hope to release the first locomotive made specifically for Open Rails to coincide with the release of the v128 demo It is the ficticious Class 35 #501, 2-8-2 Mikado, US 3ft narrow gauge locomotive, a modelling testbed project for Open Rails.

Cheers Bazza

Thank you Walter. I'm very interested in trying it. What size is the download? I only have a dial up connection and may need to make arrangements to download it else where.

Thanks,
Jim

My gosh! Is that all? I guess 'we' do have a long way to go yet.
Second question: How long will the DL window be open?

Remember, there's no content, only program files and related stuff. Please note there are dependencies that will have to be DL and installed separately, like XNA and .NET frameworks.

Right now, we'll allow DLs for 2 months. But, if the bandwidth and costs get excessive, we may have to close DLs earlier.

I'd be happy to provide a southern hemisphere asia/pacific mirror site.

We have 1gb webspace mostly idle...
