I haven't had a close-up shot of the mesh filters until now, they are a godsend and I will "attempt" to reproduce those on the H10/12-44's textures.

The wood floor was also interesting and I will also use that.

I must admit to always being surprised by the amount of wood that was used in the early diesels; apparently the F-Units had a metal/plywood sandwich side panels :huh:

Allen has also made a new control stand, that is much more prototypical for use in the new FM's

So these will be much improved over the previous releases.

The last one looks funky because the cab was locked and so I had to shot thru glass. But if you sqint a while you can see some things that may help you do the cab equipment. Dunno if you'll need this but the cab floor was wood slates, about 3" wide (like what you'd see in a house), running front to back, not side to side. Once painted black, now mostly worn off.
