Since I did the foliage update for the Anthracite Project and I have both a standard rail version of the route with even more updates, and the scalerail version. Since TriState Rails is all standard rail it would be much better if the standard rail version were used if the two routes were indeed merged. That way the track systems would match, not to mention the other items you mentioned in your last email.

Actually there are two portions of the L&NE that could be extended. One is from Benters Jct. to PenArgyl as you mentioned but the other one would be from the end of track a little east of Tdamore yard near Bath east about the same distance to meet the portion of line at Martins Creek on the L&HR portion of the route.

There is already a team at work on that route. You'd only have to extend it from where they leave off (maybe Canton? I'm not sure).

So, in other words, there is a New Haven route in the works?
Walter
Walter,
A couple of people have taken over Michael Stephan's "Boston Railroading", which includes trackage from Boston south to Walpole and west to Framingham. New Haven and Boston & Albany trackage. I've been supplying them with data.
It's quite a ways from Maybrook, however :rotfl:

Rick and Walter,
I am one of those people so it will at least be half way decent, not that it isn't all ready.

Paul,
It's been a while since I've looked at the track chart. I know the 'Midland' division of the New Haven is represented from Readville to Walpole Jct, as is the Boston to Lowell line as far as Framingham. What I don't remember is how far south the 'Shore Line' route goes from South Station.

Thanks, Paul
The New Haven trackage in Eastern Massachusetts is a real rats nest!

My recollection is that Walpole Jct is as far as Michael went, and I'm not sure how much of the 'Old Colony' lines to the east were done. Connections to the Cape Cod route would be via the Old Colony to Middleboro from Boston, and via the Shore Line through Attleboro for trains from New York, IIRC. I'm pretty sure they're not part of Michael's track base.
