MSTS Thousand Islands Railway 500
Thousand Islands Railway 500 was originally Oshawa Electric 42, one of only eight Whitcomb
gas-electrics ever built. The unit was rebuilt by Canadian National to a diesel-electric in 1947 and served the TIR until 1962. TIR 500 is still on display in Gananoque, Ontario.
Created in TS-Modeler by Paul Charland. Coupler and air hose shapes by Tim Muir. Cab was cobbled together from passenger views combined with Tim Muir's Pacific Electric cab parts. Original ENG file by Richard Cowan.
