"Q" key opens the left hand side windows. "Shift Q" opens the right side windows. "Shift V" raises the front coupling link. These keys once more pressed reverses these actions.

The tender has the passenger view (key 5), set at the very front so that it puts you, the user, just inside the cab.

There is no "Cab view" per se. One of your own choosing can be applied, but not necessary for operation.

History of the locomotive.

Baltimore & Ohio 4-4-0 No.270 began life in the service of
the United States Military Rail Roads during the War of the Rebellion, having been built for the Government on January 17th, of 1863, as Mason shop number 124. Purchased for $11,845, it had 16x22 inch cylinders, 60 inch drivers and weighed 27.5 tons. In U.S.M.R.Rds. service, Mason No.124 went under the name Genl. Haupt, working on the Orange & Alexandria R.R. and construction trains through April of 1864. During the first two weeks of April, the Genl.Haupt was used at Aquia Creek on the O.& A.R.R. 1865 found the engine on the City Point & Army Line, with a new name, J.C. Robinson, where it worked through the end of hostilities and final disposition of the Federal railroad operations there. It was taken to Alexandria and along with 39 other ex-USMRR locomotives, was purchased by the B.& O. and became their Number 270, at a cost of $16,500. In 1884 it was renumbered to 61 and held that number till struck off in 1897
