1855 Hudson River RR boxcar

Built in Train Sim Modeler Pro from drawings found in John H. White's "The American Railroad Freight Car". Modified using an old photo for a guide.
Model and textures by Tim W. Muir.

The car is 30 feet long between coupler faces, 8.55 feet wide over eaves, 10.5 feet high over grab irons.
Inside dimensions are 7.6 feet width, 5.78 feet high and 25.5 feet long.
It's rated at 10 tons capacity and weighed in the 7 to 9 ton range.
