The Death Valley Railroad had a single caboose, numbered 100. This narrow gauge caboose was manufactured for the DVRR in 1915 by the Seattle Car & Foundry Company. It remained in service on the DVRR until the railroad was abandoned in 1931.
This model is based on drawings by Richard Dunn in the "Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette" issue dated July/August 2014.
