Entrance to the Tunnel Structure located at Economic Mill. This tunnel traversed the entire distance to Victor under Squaw Hill and emerged in the shaft of the Gold Coin Mill for the purposes of delivering Ore to the Economic Mill which was owned along with the Mine by the Woods Investment Group.

Largest mill in the United States at its time of construction it used a chloride extraction method for extracting gold from the ore. It served the gold fields until a disasterous fire destroyed it. Nothing remains today.

Ore was delliverd by the Short Line at the upper level and distributed to the Mill by tramways and electric engines, there was a lower entrance for horse drawn ore deliveries. The overall height from the bottom to the top of the mill as 140 feet and the main chimney was 60 feet high.

This model is based on historic photos and careful research carried out by me for many months. Some of the textures were sourced from research by Linda Irene Tingvik with her kind permission, others are from historic Colorado Structures from the period.

This model includes night and snow textures. It is medium poly so can be used for both MSTS and Open Rails.

Installation:
Place the shape and texture files into your route folders and add the ref entry to your ref list. I use the 257 texture setting so that this will correctly display both snow and night textures.
