This set of structures was the central core of the Elkton Mine on Raven Hill, Elkton Colorado around 1912. This contains the main Shafts in two connected shaft houses, including a tramway that led to the ore house and down to the main tramway to the tailing piles, and related structures.

This structure is part of a set that makes up the entire Elkton Mine as it was in 1912 located at Elkton Colorado. This was a very large mine with many levels and the main shaft had been completely built in by this date and included a full ore house, power house, engine house and several main shafts and extensive out buildings.

A suggested layout is to place the additional model for the Power house close to the Main complex as seen in the included Picture in the DATA folder. Also include the Tramway that carried the waste ore over the tracks which should run next to the Ore House download chutes. Below the tramway should be tailings piles they are also available in the downloads. Finally there are separate models for a small Ore Loader which sat near the main ore house see photo in data folder and the Yard Dispatch office.

This model is based on historic photos and careful research carried out by me for many months. Some of the textures were sourced from research by Linda Irene Tingvik with her kind permission, others are from historic Colorado Structures from the period.

This model includes night and snow textures. It is medium poly so can be used for both MSTS and Open Rails.

Rights and Restrictions: you may freely use, rework and repaint this model, TSM source files is included. The only restriction is that this model may not be sold or used in commercial pay ware without my express permsision. You can reach me at the e mail below. Installation:
Place the shape and texture files into your route folders and add the ref entry to your ref list. I use the 257 texture setting so that this will correctly display both snow and night textures.
