2 Forest objects, Douglas fir trees from 7-12 ft. and 14-22 ft.
Photo realistic tree that can form a very dense forest object with many more trees in a given area than the normal tree used. The image is expanded horizontally to fill the artwork, then "shrunk" with the forest.dat size numbers to look normal. The ace will not work as a normal tree.

Small Douglas Fir trees in two size ranges, the 8ftfirfat is roughtly 7-12’, the 15ftfirfat ranges from about 14-22’.
To use, unzip to desktop or other folder of choice. The summer15ftfirfat.ace goes in the main and autumn texture folders of your route, the winter ace goes in the winter folder of your route, spring in the spring folder. You might want to back up your original forest.dat before adding the following lines in wordpad or a similar program.
Forest ( "15ftfirfat" "15ftfirfat.ace" 4.5f 6.5.0f 0.7f 1.1f)
Forest ( "8ftfirfat" "15ftfirfat.ace" 2.3f 3.3.0f 0.7f 1.1f)
You will also have to change the number on the second line of the forest.dat as it must match the number of objects listed in it. So, add 2 to the total presently there. For example, the following would have 61 changed to 63.
SIMISA@@@@@@@@@@JINX0F0t______
61
Save the changes and exit.
Now the new trees will appear in the list of the Track Objects in the route editor and you can place it as any other forest object. Select and right click on the center green box and the properties menu will come up for the object. The right hand tab allows setting the object density per square kilometer. To get the maximum density of trees, set the density from 30,000 - 90,000. Lower numbers will result in thinner tree cover.
You must have at least a rudementary knowledge of using the Route Editor to use this archive.
