D&RGW Narrow Gauge Coach #312
February 13, 2012
Railcar Model and Textures by: Justin Legg
Brakewheel Texture by: Bill Pratt
Shape files for coupler, and air hoses: Erick Cantu
Physics by Herb Kelsey
Marker Lights by Tim Muir
Special thanks to: Herb Kelsey for providing the .wag files and other modeling advice, as well as the Knotts Berry Farm Railroad Crew for providing access to the original equipment.
TO INSTALL: Unzip DRGW_Pass_312.zip to a temporary folder; then, move the contents to the "..Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET" directory. Then, build a consist using the consist editor; the passenger car will appear as "COACH DRGW 312".
Some background:
Coaches 310, 312, 323, 325, 326, and 327 were all built by the Denver & Rio Grande. These originally had open platforms; when the San Juan was modernized in 1937, the vestibules were closed and more modern reclining seating was installed. After the San Juan stopped service, coaches 312, 323, 327 stayed in Colorado and are in service on the Durango and Silverton.
If there are any questions/comments/suggestions, please let me know by PM. Thanks!
